Disciplined Investment Criteria

CameronBlue has a patient and disciplined investment approach that reflects our experiences as an investor and board member of small businesses and larger public companies.

Our operating focus is on ROIC and developing market positions that provide greater profit margin as well as revenue growth.

Our return philosophy is based on the multiples of invested capital returned and not short-term IRR generated by a quick exit.

We value the opportunity to hold excellent businesses over longer periods of time.  Our “buy-and-hold” philosophy will achieve greater returns for our shareholder partners and management teams.

Our specific target criteria are as follows:

Transaction Size: $15 $75 million
Equity Investment: $5 $20 million
Company Revenues: Less than $100 million
Company Operating Profit: Greater than $3 million with 10 + percent margins
Business ROIC: Greater than 25 percent
Ownership: Majority control investments
Types of Businesses: Private companies, family-controlled or owner-managed
Growth Orientation: Opportunities for growth via internal expansion or consolidation
Management: Existing team committed to growth and business improvement
Geography: Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S.
